The is no limit to the number of supplies and accessories you can get for your wedding, and many of them are wonderful. There is even an abundance of suggestions for all types of weddings these days too, from themed seasonal to fairytale, and ethnic to a country hoedown style. Today, there really are no limits to what you can do for your wedding day. For their wedding day, a man and his beautiful bride have a ton of choices. Destination weddings and honeymoons are quite popular. But, no matter what theme or style wedding and reception you are planning, you still need wedding accessories and reception supplies. I chose to go on the web and search out all the decorations, gifts and other accessories I needed for our wedding day. I saved money by not limiting myself exclusively to the bridal stores in the area, and it saved me some headaches, too. I was able to get everything from our wedding invitations to our beautifully elegant personalized glass wedding favors.
For a surprisingly low price, I picked up a matching set with a garter for the wedding, a basket for the flower girl, a pillow for the ring bearer, and a sign in book and pen for the guests. There were plenty of ceremony accessories, including lovely tiaras and wedding combs to choose from too. I also bought the reception supplies and decorations online and all I had to do was sit and wait for delivery. Talk about saving from aggravation – and saving money, too, actually, since I got some great deals. Two miniature people that were spitting images of my fiance and I were made special just for us as a wedding cake topper. That may be my favorite souvenier from the entire day, and it looked so cool. I also ordered a beautiful cake serving set with crystal handles and champagne toasting flutes that had bride and groom printed on them. We picked out champagne glass wedding favors as an added thank you for our family and good friends. Each of the women at our wedding got crystal wedding favors, and each of the men who were our guests got shot glass wedding favors. The crystal favor I found for the ladies were lovely crystal perfume bottles that were attached to a keychain and you can carry your favorite fragrance around with you everywhere you go. That was something that I figured they’d really appreciate. They arrive in small silver containers with matching hang tags and a bow. The place card holders for the reception were attractive and unusual as well. They were made of glass and the form of a bunch of grapes, and in the middle was a place for the card to sit. They made the tables at the reception sparkle.
The glass favors and crystal favors me and my fiance picked out seemed to please everyone. One of the guests commented on how lovely the little perfume bottle was and what a exceptional idea it was to have it fit on a keychain. Of course the guys all loved their shot glass wedding favors. We all had such a wonderful time together celebrating our wedding reception. There was lots of dancing, great food and wonderful friends and family to share it with.

Discount Glass Favors!
Thursday, June 18th, 2009Beautiful Heart Favors!
Sunday, June 14th, 2009 What could be more romantic than a ceremony held in the month of Februrary? Putting the symbol of love all around our wedding day struck me as a wonderful way to celebrate marriage. The first thing I bought was a gorgeous bridal tiara that I picked out over the Internet. In fact I found quite a few super accessories like invitations that are perfect for the love theme I wanted. I mailed out small cards that had two silver-colored hearts on the front of them for our invitations. The only thing I really had to do was write in the information, like the place and the date, and the rest was already filled out in beautiful calligraphy when we got them.
When the invitations were completed, I had to go forward with putting together the exact products that I would use. I bought large scarlet bows made of velvet to put on the church pews with a ribbon that would run from one pew to the next. The unity candle we used had a design of tiny roses put together to form a heart shape on the front of it, and the rest of the candle decorations made the altar look exquisite. There were also red and pink roses to help with the décor of the wedding site and red and white roses in my bridal bouquet. We had doves let out of cages as my groom and I departed from the church building, and it was one extra touch that I thought was just majestic.
The wedding apparel that would be worn by those who were going to be in the wedding had already been selected. I picked out a white satin basket that had bows and lace decorating it for our flower girl. There was a white double hearts wedding themed pillow with a pair of gold hearts on it that we got for our ring boy to use, along with a white ribbon made of satin for the rings. I had a mini tiara for the flower girl to wear in her hair that looked very much like the one I ordered for myself. With her lovely pink flower girl skirt and her crown, I felt that she could have passed for a princess, especially when she did such a graceful job in the wedding. The ring boy was just as cute in his small tuxedo and red boutonniere, and he did his task just as well. He carried the ring pillow like a pro and kept in step with the rest of the wedding party. I was very glad that I chose to include both of them.
Our reception tables all had exquisite centerpieces, and floating candles for a glowing romantic ambiance. Our place card holders were little silver hearts on a stand with adorable little hearts wedding cards with the name of each guest printed on. They were almost as gorgeous as the heart favor gifts we had for them. The gifts also added to the décor of our reception tables with all the shine of crystal. That and the crystal glassware, china and candles really made a heart weddings picture, fit for a bridal magazine cover.
Our entire wedding day called to mind love and Valentine’s Day, filled with flowers and hearts galore. Thank goodness for the world wide web, which certainly saved me a ton of time and hassle.
I Found Some Amazing Bridal Accessories!
Thursday, June 4th, 2009As soon as we set the date I wanted to get a jump start on checking out the bridal accessories I may need. I wanted to stay up to date in bridal fashion, but at the same time try to stay within our agreed budget for our accessories and supplies. I found quite a bit of discount and wholesale items, including some beautiful bridal hair accessories. But before I could order or even choose anything I had to talk to my fiance and make sure he was alright with the plans we had already discussed. To start with we decided that we wanted to have a theme wedding and we agreed to make it a beach themed wedding and reception. The beach has been a special place for us and our friends ever since we were kids.
I ordered beach invitations right away so they would be on their way to our friends and family, first thing. There were no no’s in the RSVP’S, and they all seemed to be really looking forward to our wedding day. With that out of the way it was time to start looking for all of my wedding accessories I would need. I was surprised at all the accessories they carried for weddings and receptions, and I shop online quite a bit. I saw a gorgeous tiara and hair comb in the selection, and I just had to have them. I also found wedding jewelry that I really wanted to wear for my ceremony. I looked at all the jewelry and found the necklace and earring set I wanted to wear with my wedding dress. It was so beautiful with little pearls and glistening crystals, it looked fantastic.
There were a lot of fashionable accessories that were so beautiful and most of the items were reasonable in price. There were even a lot of honeymoon accessories available that I ordered. I know that a short thin materialed dress would have been more appropriate for a beach ceremony, but I had my heart set on my full length gown. My bridesmaids and flower girl wore knee length satin dresses with spaghetti straps to help keep them cool and comfortable. They were all so elegant, they could have been on the cover of a bridal magazine.
There were tiki torches and those little white christmas lights everywhere and a dance floor my fiance had fixed there. The reception tables had been decorated in an oceanside motif and the little sailboat place card holders was a great addition. As wedding favors I wanted to give them something special from the seaside collection, so I chose the beach themed photo frames for each of them. Everyone seemed to like the gifts they received. On the bride and groom table were our toasting flutes, lovely candles in their beach theme holders and lots of lovely tealights. Our wedding cake topper was especially designed for a beach wedding just as all our other accessories for our reception. A man and woman taking a casual walk on the shore was the wedding cake topper I chose for our reception. With all the items and bridal accessories they had available, it was easy to make this wedding and reception a total success. We danced, ate tons of seafood, like shrimp, crab, lobster and of course we had other foods for those that didn’t like seafood. Everyone danced, ate and just had a fantastic time. It was a little sad when we had to leave for our honeymoon and everyone was still partying it up.
As soon as we returned from our honeymoon I got out my beautiful beach themed wedding guest book and started writing thank you cards to our friends and family. Whenever I want to remember my wedding day, I’ll take out my beach themed photo album and look at all the pictures we had taken.
