I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. At the top of the list was getting a party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and graduation party invitations, too, along with other things.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. They had these little plastic handbags that I filled with colorful little candies and found place cards with pink lilies printed on them. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. You should see all the cute litte favor boxes you can get for just about any ocassion you are planning on celebrating. I chose little floral patterned boxes which I stacked on a cake plate in layers and sat on the gift table. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. As thank you gifts I decided on manicure sets for everyone, and I bought a few extra gifts as prizes for the party games we were going to play. I found some random things to hand out as awards, such as unique key rings, little vanity mirrors, and special soaps.
Party game suggestions abound on the Internet. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. We also played bridal bingo and a couple other funny games. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I know I got a super deal on the favors and invitations I picked out. I paid a fraction of what I had expected, I had lots of accessories to choose from and I didn’t have to go with inferior products. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. She’ll have a lot of options when she uses this site, and it will save her a pretty penny, which all newlyweds need. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. Which, by the way, I also ordered online. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. Goal number one was finding a engagement party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. Boy, did I luck out in that department. The options I had were staggering, and the cost was very low. Some of the deals were just incredible. The shower invitations were very high quality with pearl edges and silver writing. The site also had standard party invitations, birthday party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
I found some darling place card holders for the party as well, among other things. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. When placed on the tables at the shower alongside the gifts and things, they looked cool No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It was a good-looking way to set it up, and everyone there just came by and grabbed a gift. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. This is really a hysterical game to play. We had a hoot playing bridal bingo and some other activities, too. Deciding to surf the web was an excellent thing to do since I saw all kinds of things I could use and a good portion of them were very affordable. I made out alright purchasing my favors and invitations from them. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The shower was a hit because of them, I know that much. We all had a super time and all my favors and other accessories really impressed my guests. The last thing to do is to send them all thank yous for being a guest at the shower. Which, by the way, I also ordered online. Now I have to go back online because I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party and they have quite a bit to offer there too.
