I made a list of everything I’d have to buy for my best friend’s bridal shower, and then once I had that, I got to work. At the top of the list was getting a graduation party invitation. Dragging myself from shop to shop hoping to find a good deal or a decent selection isn’t my idea of a good time, so I went searching for supplies online. I hit the jackpot there. The prices and selection were both better than I expected. I even got a few items at a great discount price. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked exquisite. It wasn’t a place that specialized in bridal acessories, either; they had basic party invitations and engagement party invitations, too, along with other things.
There were some great little accessories for my shower too, like place card holders for all the little tables I had set up. The wedding guest book was another present I purchased; it would help the couple keep good records of who gave them which gifts. There was also a cute idea for a place card holder that I really liked. The place cards themselves had pink lilies on them, and then everyone got a handbag made of plastic and filled with candy in different-colored wrappers. Next to the other decorations and presents, they were a real eye-catcher. There’s no type of party that doesn’t have a gift box designed for it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. I got little decorative soaps, purse mirrors, novelty key rings and many other little trinkets that made great prizes.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. In the the game ‘Take It Off,’ each person put a bag over their head and they have to take off one piece of clothing when the leader of the game tells them to, and it doesn’t occur to all of the women to take of the bag; it’s very amusing to watch. It’s comical to watch that game unfold, and it’s a good way to see just how smart your friends are. We had a hoot playing bridal bingo and some other activities, too. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. The favors and invitations I bought were a bargain. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. I had to tell the bride to be all about this website I go to, because they have an awesome selection of wedding invitations and favors too, and I thought she should know about it. So, maybe ordering her accessories and reception supplies from here will help her out in the planning and the finances. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. Now that the party is over, I’m filling out the guest thank you cards thanking them for attending. Which, by the way, I also ordered online. With all the web has to offer, I’m helping my friend plan her sons’ birthday party.
